Out and about

Unless driving down to El Valle, you will need a hire car to get from Alicante or Murcia airports to the Resort. This then affords our guests a huge number of options for things to do, from shopping at some of Spain’s largest Malls, to swimming in the famous Mar Menore (a shallow salt-water lagoon communicating with the Mediterranean, but 5-6 degrees warmer, 25min drive), to enjoying Spain’s beautiful, wild natural landscape, exploring the historic cities of Murcia (20min) and Cartegena (30min).

Outdoor activities include horse-riding, white-water rafting, the Coastal gun battery at Castillos, wine tours, and of course the many local bars and restaurants. Even without the golf, you won’t be bored at El Valle, whether you relax at EcoVilla, or venture out to loose yourself in the essential Spanish experience.

We are also pleased to be able mention two exciting future additions to Murcia’s welcome to tourists - the opening of a new international airport, less that 15 minutes from the Resort (No, EcoVilla is not under the flightpath!), and Paramount Studios plans to open their European Theme Park less than 30 minutes from El Valle. We can’t wait!
